How many years have you been together?
The boys have been playin together for over 2 years...we were originally known as "DJ Fooey and the Funk Brothers"...late in 2006 we evolved into Funk Soda and added a female vocalist.
Who are the members of your band and what are their weapons of choice?
Fooey - DJ (writes all original tracks)...Remixes...Mash ups....FX's
Damo - Sax, Synth, Keyboard
Clint - Percussion, Drum Kit
Lady K - MC & Vocals
What are your plans for the next 12 months?
To rock it out at as many different venues as possible and to be signed to a reputable record label.
Who are some other artists you have performed with?
We are usually the headline act..
Most Embarrassing moment while your playing?
When our first singer (MisA) walked out on us during a song during our first ever set @ King St! Bitch!
Do you play requests?
No...only because when you have live elements combined with dance music you can't do too much improve..we rehearse our sets!

Do you consider this a lifelong career?
Yes..we're in it for the long haul! Funk runs thru our veins...
Would you ever consider having digital drums then a real life drummer?
Most definitely...however Fooey and Clint would have a major battle to see who plays it...lol
What is your bands biggest influence in your bands career?
Everything Old Skool, James Brown and Krafty Kuts.
Why did you choose the band name you have chosen?
Fooey's wife came up with 'Funk Soda'...Fooey & Damo just couldn't top it!
Do you have a mascot?
Yep...soda bottle cap.
Do you have any groupies following you around?
Of course...lol...but we're in it for the music.

Residency @ BLOC Nightclub...

Well all the boys are spoken for! Lady K is single and loving it...
