Which other bands have been your greatest influence?

Beatles, Bec, Butler, Ween, GnFnR, just to name a few.... but in reality every song that we hear has some influence on us, no matter how trivial it may seem.

Most Embarrsing moment while your playing?

Not so much a moment but rather a comedy of errors that was supposed to be a gig.
Started off by running late, then 2nd song a string snaps with no spare guitar. So i member of the crowd changes the string, while we play the next song with only one guitar. During that song the guitar strap gives away and the guitar slipped. next song, both guitars back in action and half way through the song another string snaps..... the same F*&K'n 'G'string.
and before the night is over the guitar straps slips another two times, plus other technical difficulties....... but by this point of the story i am sure you get the point.

Do you play requests?

Not unless it is one of our own songs...... and that hasn't already been played that set. If you went to the toilet and missed your favourite song, you should have thought about that before going to the toilet ;)

Name some of the venues you have played at over the years?

- The Lass (lass O'gourey)
- The Cambridge
- The Northern Star
- The Station hotel
- The Beaches
- Brackets and Jam (central coast)

Do you consider this a lifelong career?

It could be considered as about as permanent as anything in life......
Music is a lifestyle not a career choice! Once you start living music there is no turning back. Bands may come and go, but the lifestyle remains the same. What bands 'come and go', and what bands stay..... that's for fate to decide.

Would you ever consider having digital drums then a real life drummer?

We use a combination of digital and acoustic drums in most tracks as well as in the live show. We try to embrace the future, and all that it holds. For evolution is the key to the continuation of animal species, perhaps the same holds true for the music.
Plus we try to fuse many styles of music together, and electronica is a bit component of this generation music.

What is your bands biggest influence in your bands career?

Like most bands finances are a big influential factor to a bands outcome, and that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is not as easy to find as it used to be!
Plus the internet, and the ease of this day and age's communication. The internet is a powerful tool that our generation has access to that is making it easier to new bands to be heard.

Why did you choose the band name you have chosen?

the band name.... its a bit of a metaphor.
truthfully, we got messed up one night and were writing some of our music and while in that inebriated state we thought that our music should be listened to in that state of mind...... in that headset...... 'in the headset'.
plus our wherever you look people are walking around with earphones on, so i guess if they are listening to us we are 'in the headset'.
it started as a personal joke and it stuck. plus we like it, being doubled edged.

Do you have a mascot?

not officially, but we are thinking about having try-outs next week.... keen for a run? :P

Do you have any groupies following you around?

only the finest quality groupies you ever did see....!!!
but always room for more, so come and join the big happy family.

How long have you all been together?

we have been accumulating band members, and groupies, for years.
but the core has been solid for about 4 years.

What is your greatest career achievement?

probably forming the band in the first place, for everything that happened after that was meant to be.

Is it true that band boys/girls get all the sexy ladies/men?
Not necessarily so, but any ladies at our gigs are more than welcome to prove this statement wrong?! ;)
